HE Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga
An international NGO known as Human Life International awarded His Excellency, Air Com, Idongesit Nkanga (RTD) one of its highest awards the, “Democracy & Leadership Award”, in recognition of his contributions to the Peace and Security during the 2011 General Election in Akwa Ibom State.
Human life international, one of the international NGO’s that covered the 2011 elections in Akwa Ibom State said:
“The board of trustees examined the campaign components of political parties in relation to their mobilization of electorates, protection of lives and property and determination of the campaign organization not to interfere or influence the outcome of the exercise”.
This award clearly debunks the claims of the opposition that the entire process was marred with violence and mass rigging.
