1. On behalf of Akwa Ibom State citizens in the Diaspora, AIDN heartily congratulates Engr. Monday James Umo on his recent appointment as the Acting Deputy State Coordinator of PDP National Youth Vanguard in Akwa Ibom State. His nomination, following a recent nationwide restructuring exercise, was approved a few days ago by the Central Working Committee of the PDP Youth Vanguard Forum in Uyo.
2. Engr. Monday Umo served as the premier AIDN Area Coordinator in Italy. He is currently the AIDN and Ibom Diaspora Trust (IDT) representative in Nigeria, and he diligently exercises his duties in these capacities. As a core member of AIDN, we hereby resolve to support Engr. Monday Umo all the way through the time of his stewardship. We wish him a peaceful and wonderful service to Akwa Ibom State, especially in the area of youth leadership.
3. We trust in Engr. Umo’s ability to help set the agenda, mobilise the youth of Akwa Ibom and bring about lasting improvements in the democratic process for political stability in Akwa Ibom State, even as we approach another political milestone for Nigeria – the 2015 general elections season.
4. We thank the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Vanguard Forum for the confidence it has on Engr. Monday Umo and for appointing him to the esteemed office of the Acting Deputy State Coordinator, knowing that he is skillful and always ready to serve his people.
