DECLARATION OF SUPPORT FOR ATI ANNANG USA

UKO IBIBIO, in graciously accepting an invitation to participate in the historic inauguration of ATI ANNANG USA taking place in Baltimore, Maryland, USA on June 29 to July 1, 2012, resolves as follows and do hereby declare that:

1. We identify with the laudable goals and objectives of ATI ANNANG, especially such ones that promote peaceful coexistence, unity and economic empowerment of the Akwa Ibom people. As a people with common destiny, shared interests and mutual respect for all Akwa Ibom citizens, we will continue to collaborate with ATI ANNANG towards all-round prosperity of our beloved state.
2. We support the launching of ATI ANNANG in the United States and warmly welcome all brothers and sisters visiting Baltimore, Maryland, USA from all over the world for the event. As a mark of solidarity, and of honor and respect for ATI ANNANG patrons and members all over the world, we call on all Ibibio sons and daughters in the Americas, especially all members of UKO IBIBIO, to attend this august event in order to lend support to the organizers and make the gathering a memorable one.

All members of UKO IBIBIO are encouraged to punctually attend the occasion in their traditional Ibibio attires and be fully involved in all activities and functions of that day.

Long live ATI ANNANG !! 

Long live Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria !!!
